Velux use an elegant handle at the bottom of the window with ventilation positions in the handle also. The handle at the bottom allows to open the window outwards, lean out and enjoy a view without being disturbed. The outwarding opening mechinism allows for a balcony like feeling when the window opens and is the top choice for loft coversions. The window also comes with the trademark Velux bar across the top to allow ventilation and also turned into a centre pivot window for cleaning purposes when needed to.
